Blue Print Direct Mail Celebrates 22 Years in Business
Where has the time gone? It seems like only yesterday that our business was incorporated in 1999 by Bill Smith!
Starting off as a direct mail facilitation business, Anthony Drew, Managing Director, joined in 2006. This was followed by the recession in 2007/2008 which took its toll on general printers and therefore, a strategic move to take production in-house was made. This was hardly surprising as both Bill and Anthony had decades of experience in this area of expertise and could offer their customers valuable advice.
In 2016, Bill decided to take a well-earned rest and Anthony took up the reigns: purchasing the company and taking up the position of MD. At this time, the company started to trade as Blue Print Direct Mail.
Since then, the company has grown in both capacity and size; now boasting a full production and storage unit with 17 employees and ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO27001 accreditations. We have also trained 10 apprentices over the last 5 years and are looking to take on additional apprentices in 2021.
