Our staff are leading the way again
We were very pleased to employ Tom Walters in 2016, as an apprentice working towards his NVQ (Level 2) in ‘Warehousing & Storage’ with Heart of Worcestershire College. Tom quickly applied his enthusiasm and logical thought to improve the goods inwards, stock control and the issue of raw material and customers own good.
Tom had previously worked with our charge hand Pat Dowling, at Nimble Fingers giving him a good base to move upward in the print industry.
After Tom completed the NVQ (level 2) in Warehousing & Storage, he wished to continue with his personal development. We are pleased to announce that Tom has passed another apprenticeship, in the 5 units he covered to successfully complete the requirements in: ‘Performing Manufacturing Operations’ - Level 2 Diploma (NVQ), also with the Heart of Worcestershire College.
As a result of his hard work and commitment, Tom now has responsibility for our warehousing area, is a number one operator of the VB300 enclosing line and runs printing presses when required.
Tom said, “through my apprenticeship, I have benefited from being more confident in my work and it is good that I now have these additional qualifications”. We wish Tom our heartfelt congratulations and look forward to Tom progressing his career at Blue Print.
