Our Work With Local Hospices
We are really excited to share with you what we have been working on in the lead up to Christmas. We have had the pleasure of working with four hospices on their ‘Light up a Life’ appeals. Light up a Life is such a lovely way to remember those who are no longer with us this Christmas.
Let’s start with KEMP.
KEMP’s LUAL consisted of an extended A4 2pp with a tear off donation form, an A5 2pp die cut dedication heart and a BRE for the recipients to return their information. KEMP also took advantage of using the beautiful Royal Mail Christmas stamp. Recipients that sent a donation were then sent a follow up thank you card. The design work was done all in-house by Blue Print.

Moving onto Longfield.
Longfield’s LUAL consisted of an A4 2pp invitation with a donation form to fill out on the back, an A4 2pp letter with stories about how the recipients support has helped patients and families, an A5 2pp die cut card with stars to dedicate a loved one. To send the information back, there was a pre-paid business reply envelope. Longfield also decided to add the design onto their outer envelope.

Up next we have Myton.
Myton’s LUAL consisted of an A4 2pp letter, an A5 6pp booklet with a tear off donation form. Myton also included a BRE for the recipients to send their information back in the post. Their envelope was printed with the appeal name and logo to make it easily recognisable to the recipients.

Last, but certainly not least, we have St Michael’s Hospice.
St Michael’s kept their LUAL campaign simple this year as they had recently just sent out their Autumn Mailing. We thought we’d share them both as we love their approach this year. Their Autumn Mailing consisted of two raffle books, an A5 6pp booklet with their Christmas cards and order form on the back page, an A4 16pp newsletter booklet, an A5 2pp leaflet for their Christmas lottery. an extended A4 2pp letter with ‘Easy Entry” prefilled labels for the recipients to stick onto the donation forms. A BRE was also included for recipients to send back their forms.
