Winner of our prize draw

Marketing manager (Mo Bott) and the MD (Anthony Drew), were up at the crack of dawn to attend the Hereford and Worcester Chamber Business Expo in October 2018, located at the Malvern Show Ground. The marketing manager was relatively new to the company so was unsure about what to expect, however, the boss had attended the previous year.

To make the most of this event, there was a prize draw on the stand to encourage visitor participation to enter and give a little market research.  The following questions were asked of the visitors, have you ever used direct mail to:

  • Promote your goods/ services?
  • Increase sales with a special offer?
  • Fundraise?

We also included some informative facts about direct mail like;

Did you know 70% of direct mail activates online activity?

Did you know that including mail increased sales by 21%?

This was well received and instigated interesting debate on the stand.

It was a busy event with over 120 exhibitors and 800 plus delegates, who also attended seminars where much networking and chatting took place. The requirements of our visitors were varied if not challenging at times, exercising our ‘little grey cells’ to reach creative suggestions.

One of the many visitors to our stand was Mr Martin Smith of Crystal Image who wished to discuss options for promoting their beautiful glass and crystal objects.

Blue Print presented Martin with his prize draw (a case of wine) at their premises and are looking forward to working with Crystal Image in the future, with direct mail playing its part in promotional campaigns to increase this growing company.
